Runner was supposed to try and use his bangball to get rid of tackler, but nevertheless good example of the rule that states you must engage weapons first before attempting a block or tackle. This makes WarBall safer than football, it slows down or eliminates high speed collisions. Sorry for the slow speed, lack of athleticism, these are just practice examples.. DB uses sword to knock down non transparent visor so play is dead at that spot, WR could have blocked the sword with the bangball, and if so, DB best option would be to try and tackle him, or smash the face mask button, triggering the LED’s in the helmet, which also is whistled dead at that point.Defensive back versus Wide Receiver blocking. Elbow Strike in one example is decent martial art move. RB’s, WR’S and DB’s have back mounted swords to keep hands free. Sometimes they are used like sticks to block, other times as seen here they are also used like a bladed weapon. They are made of polycarbonate, so they are safe, not sharp. Note nice elbow strike by the DB.
